Tallahassee officer solves case of lonely 6-year-old boy who called 911

While it wasn’t an emergency, a 6-year-old boy in Tallahassee was definitely in distress.

The little guy was lonely, so Officer Joe White did what came naturally.

He helped.

The officer went to the scene and explained to the youngster "how 911 is used and how it’s for emergencies. Then Officer White said he’d always be a friend!'' according to the police department’s Facebook page.

The boy got a quick lesson and, more important, a stuffed animal, according to the post. He also got to sit in the patrol car.
