“President Trump, having championed one of the larger tax cuts in recent years, has now enacted tariffs equivalent to one of the largest tax increases in decades,” CNBC reports.

“A CNBC analysis of data from the Treasury Department ranks the combined $72 billion in revenue from all the president’s tariffs as one of the biggest tax increases since 1993. In fact, the tariff revenue ranks as the largest increase as a percent of GDP since 1993 when compared with the first year of all the revenue measures enacted since then, according to the data.”

that make jobs go up. These days though the GOP makes sure more jobs don't result in increased wages. So Keynesianism doesn't work the same way. Or something. It is all messed up.

for the rich will the average American realize that tRump doesn't know anything about finances or the economy? He lost over $1 BILLION in less than 10 years! How can any American think he knows what he is doing and has confidence in his decisions? The Dem candidates need to broadcast this info constantly if the issue of the economy is such a big factor when it comes to reelecting a president.
