It seems like a vague term to me. That there aren't any guidelines to determine at what point is a women's life at risk enough to warrant an abortion.
Too many are okay with women dying as it is.

(16,201 posts)Its intended to make doctors afraid of being second guessed. Who wants to risk performing a life saving procedure if a prosecutor can second guess you and put you on trial for murder.
It was designed like all anti-abortion laws, to oppress women and if necessary to kill them. This makes the American Taliban happy.

(32,029 posts)Has had a serious heart ailment ever since she was a teenager. Her doctors told her not to have children because in their opinion, her heart could not withstand the stress of going through childbirth. She had her tubes tied when she got married (at the non- Catholic hospital).

(14,643 posts)Everything can go right until it goes wrong. Fast. My baby and I almost died just hours after my normal checkup. It can go wrong even after a normal childbirth. No woman should be forced to go through this risk, which means that her choice, and her choice alone, is enough to warrant an abortion.
