George Conway to Trump re poll #s whine: You're the most unfit, incompetent president in history

White House counselor Kellyanne Conway’s husband George Conway mocked Donald Trump in a Twitter thread today after the president claimed his poll numbers would be at “65%” if it were not for special counsel Robert Mueller‘s supposed “witch hunt.”
Conway responded to Trump’s excuses with a post “fix[ing] this for you.”
“Without your bizarre, improper, impeachable, and ILLEGAL behavior in response to the perfectly justified investigation you like to call a ‘Witch Hunt,’ and without your deranged behavior in numerous other respects,” he wrote.
“[Y]our poll numbers, especially because of the great, full-employment economy that you inherited and then goosed up with massive deficit spending, would be much higher than they are,” Conway added. “Too bad! The most unfit and incompetent president in American history.”

Yeah - I like what he says but there's just something about it that's just a little too contrived by half. Reminds me of watching "pro" wrestling as a kid and being shocked to learn that it was all just a script.
Tells me all I need to know about his role in the kabuki.
I’ll give the Conways credit that they can maintain their relationship as they desire through this obvious political difference of opinion. I couldn’t do it but I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt.
But I can’t give Trump credit to stay above it and retaliate against her for George’s “misdeeds”.
But...we’ll never know. Just my vibe.
