Donald the Junior and Eric the Lessor are NOTHING.

Ladies and gentlemen, truly the greatest Presidential family in history:

Roosevelt was the only general on D-Day to land by sea with the first wave of troops. At 56, he was the oldest man in the invasion,[30] and the only one whose son also landed that day; Captain Quentin Roosevelt II was among the first wave of soldiers at Omaha Beach.

There is no comparison between the Roosevelt family and the Trumps.

Roosevelt deserves the title for being a bold and fearless leader, if a bit foolhardy for risking his own life when his loss would have affected the war. Glad he wasn't killed or injured.

Heart attack. Awarded the Medal of Honor for his courage, as a senior officer who could have opted out, storming the beaches.

My title stands - DonJ and Eric are nothing compared to TRJ.

being the son of Teddy Roosevelt.

He died in France a month later of a heart attack.

Elliot Roosevelt ( son of FDR) also participated in the D-Day attack as his squadron performed recon over the Normandy site before the invasion.

James Roosevelt (son of FDR) also served as a LT in the Marines during WWII... in the Pacific where he was awarded the Silver Star and Navy Cross.

His dedication to duty is something no Trump could ever comprehend.

Part of his letter pleading to be allowed to be part of the first wave:

The force and skill with which the first elements hit the beach and proceed may determine the ultimate success of the operation.... With troops engaged for the first time, the behavior pattern of all is apt to be set by those first engagements. [It is] considered that accurate information of the existing situation should be available for each succeeding element as it lands. You should have when you get to shore an overall picture in which you can place confidence. I believe I can contribute materially on all of the above by going in with the assault companies. Furthermore I personally know both officers and men of these advance units and believe that it will steady them to know that I am with them.
I don't usually stereotype Manliness, but god damn...

My dad was sent to Korea at 18 years old. He was in some kind of training when it was abruptly stopped and they were put on ships to go to Korea. So essentially all the training they got was how ever many weeks it to the ship to go from the west coast to Korea. His hands were all shot up and he spent about 6 months in a hospital. Thankfully he regained most of the use of his hands. He also was shot in the chest, but the bullet hit his dog tags first so it wasn’t fatal. I can’t imagine being sent to war anytime, but at 18? Unimaginable.

He (Roosevelt Jr) literally BEGGED to be allowed to storm the beaches at Normandy...not to diminish what your father did, but if he, you, or I were in a position to avoid the situation I wouldn't fault any of us for avoiding it.
