Trump says he received a 'beautiful' letter from North Korea's Kim

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump on Tuesday said he had received a very warm letter from North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, calling the correspondence "beautiful."

Speaking to reporters at the White House, Trump added, "I think that something will happen that's going to be very positive," but gave no details.

Washington is seeking to rebuild momentum in stalled talks with Pyongyang, aimed at getting North Korea to dismantle its nuclear weapons program. Trump and Kim last met early this year in Hanoi but failed to reach a denuclearization agreement.

Trump spoke a day after the Wall Street Journal reported that Kim's slain half-brother, Kim Jong Nam, was a source for the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency. Kim Jong Nam was killed at the airport in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 2017.

"I did receive a beautiful letter from Kim Jong Un ... I appreciated the letter. I saw the information about CIA with respect to his brother, or half-brother. And I will tell him that will not happen under my ... I wouldn't let that happen." "A very warm, very nice letter," Trump said. "I think North Korea has tremendous potential."

And remember a long time ago when Shitler said he lived in fear of food poisoning, which is why he orders fast food? Isn't it Russia that's famous for poisoning people? And pushing them out of windows to their death too, IIRC.

That POS in the White House cuddles up to killers so they don't hurt him. He reminds me of that little dog in the old cartoons, jumping up and down, looking up lovingly at the big Bulldog and saying: "Whaddaya wanna do today Spike? Huh? Huh? Whaddaya wanna do?"

What a lickspittle.

This administration has zero intention of negotiating with a communist dictatorship. They are pursuing a regime change strategy.

The US seems structurally incapable of substantial negotiations with North Korea due to the widespread institutional opposition, deep seated within the government, and also across a wide range of civil society.
