About 63 million Americans voted for Trump

That was the final count. But even if we set aside Republican gerrymandering, "lost votes," and every other tactic they use to keep Dems from voting, how in the world can 63 million people vote for a buffoon?

Well, if you didn't live in New York, maybe you didn't know about him.

However, can he "win" again? Are there that many haters in America?

I don't think so. But if there are, this is a country in which I no longer wish to live.

What about you?

1. I think a lot of votes were just against Hilary.

And people thought, "how bad can he be?" Well, now we know.

5. There also many who thought/believed Trump "would change" once elected.

They hoped/wished he would become "Presidential" once elected.

How did that work out for those voters?

A lot of people that there was no way that trump could ever win, so they sat home. I think they have seen just how wrong that thinking was. This time they will vote.

males that would never ever vote for a female. Such is America, sadly. I hope I'm wrong. It could be just a Texas macho thing??

... or maybe they did the first time and they truly regret it now. I believe Chump will get way less than 63 million votes the next time out. We need to make sure we get out the vote and at the same time, stop the Repukes from cheating.

There are a ton of down low racists in this country who don’t care about anything else. He feeds the hate and they revel in it.

(I did: 4 years in Mexico, 8 years in Italy) don't pretend you can run away to some shangri-la. And you'll never know to what extent in your heart and soul you're an (USA-)American until you find yourself in another country wondering why they don't do/say something "like we do."

A strong tough boss because of Apprentice. I myself didn’t know until a few months ago that the producers told him who to hire and fire and all he was a puppet being told what to do.

No one really knows this, I wish that would come out more in media because I still know people who respect him from that show as a good business person.

Then add up all who vote for R like we vote for D. All who voted for abortion to be made illegal.

I've lived out of the country four times. Belgium, Germany and Mexico twice. This last time for 4 1/2 years. Never had the thought why don't they do stuff like we do in US. I enjoyed the difference. There is no paradise, but the climate where i live is as close to it as possible. I truly could not live in the southern US, where I'm from, at this time.

Figure about 60% likely voted for DT. (4.8 million). Of course not all of them voted.

The new voters (18-21 year olds) that will be voting for the first time are likely to be more liberal/progressive. So the 60% will be less for Republicans. If they vote.

Now add in all the living people that voted for DT and wouldn't touch him with a 20 foot pole. The numbers should get worse for DT.

The reason why DT's campaign is trying to expand his reach is because of necessity. Where they won in 2016 is in doubt and they are struggling to find places to win.

He will likely have a difficult time in Michigan and Pennsylvania. He is starting his campaign in Florida. Why? Don't forget Wisconsin.
