The Senate Democrats blocked this asshole's confirmation. Hans and some other bush appointees gutted the DOJ election division and hired idiots like Adams (he was from a tier three law school and would never have been hired without help).

Tom Perez and Eric Holder had to rebuild the DOJ civil rights and election division after these assholes wrecked it.
