We apparently are a bunch of ignoramuses who should shut up and let the smarter people figure things out for us.

unless SHE does the right thing. Is that how leadership works now-you get a pass on your behavior until a majority wants to do the right thing??? I don't think that makes you a leader-it makes you a pollster, a mere puff of smoke showing which way the wind blows. And there can be no question of what is the right thing-laws have been broken openly and even scorned by the miscreant.

Henry Clay famously said "I'd rather be right than President. Well, I'd rather be right and trust the American people to recognize that.

'hesitance', 'timidity' or any of those shallow claims - but as a very learned, experienced political pol who knows what she is doing.

[And Pelosi has been a rep from very liberal San Francisco, the Speaker knows those folks. Perhaps better than they know themselves sometimes].

She's refusing to give Trump what he wants, and keeping her strategy hidden.

At least that's my gut feeling.
