Corey Forrester is used to sharing his opinions on social media. The Georgia-based comedian and author frequently speaks his mind to over 14,000 followers on just about any topic, from masculinity to his favorite movies.

So he didn’t think too much before sending out the following tweet on Tuesday, after his sister told him that a local venue is refusing to host weddings for same-sex couples.

“Just found out a wedding venue near my hometown has announced they are not going to allow gay marriages,” he wrote. “Just throwing it out there but if you live near me and are affected by this you can get Gay married in my yard free of charge and also I’m ordained so there.”

It’s a pretty sweet offer, especially considering his baller-looking backyard:

I was born(1970), raised & have lived in the Deep BRONZE AGE South my entire life minus the years I was in the US Air Force the majority of which were spent in California! Upon leaving the USAF returned to the area of Georgia I was raised roughly a 30min car drive south of the ATL...And now 30yrs later almost everyone I graduated from High School with is your stereotypical Southern Christian Conservative! Over the last 20-30yrs this ideology has allowed them to become prime targets of the Conservative "Propaganda4Profit" Media Industry (FOX "News", RAGE Radio & Countless forms on cable, print, etc.,). This FACT has seriously changed people I grew up with they're extremely inFOXicated, loyal TRUMP CULT members & simply downright MEAN!!!

...Yes, many of these people were from racist families/churches but that disgusting mentality was slowly being pushed to the fringes & out of society! That was until Conservative Media came along picking & scratching at those slowly healing sores of Southern Racism FOR GOP POLITICAL GAIN & ESPECIALLY RATINGS/PROFIT!!! During the 8yrs of the 1st African American POTUS this effort was switched into overdrive so when TRUMP came on the scene with his disgusting rhetoric TRUMP empowered them all to feel perfectly comfortable not only being racist & xenophobic but simply outright MEAN & HEARTLESS to anyone & everyone they were told was an enemy by the DEAR LEADER TRUMP!

...I know people throw this term around but TRUMP has a 100% REAL CULT FOLLOWING & it is very very troublesome! Even if Trump loses in 2020 I fully expect him to unleash his brainwashed CULT on the country via claims the election was stolen or something very similar!!

...But after reading the article I can certainly see why you would ask that! I had not read the article when I posted my original comment but after reading it Corey sounds perfectly legit to me!

...Had I not come home from the military & met my wife who I've been with now for over 25yrs I would've left this HELL HOLE of Bronze Age backwardness! Hard to leave family. Although, I will say our city, The ATL, is nice!

like you where you're at. We can make it better by being who we are.

We waited too long to move to Oregon, and now we're too old and health issues have become an ever growing factor and its gotten too expensive, but we've managed to make our lives here in Marble Fall more the way we are and surprisingly we've found tolerant and like minded people here like us.

My wife still goes to our church, but I am boycotting: I was told by anonymous letter that I was reading the Gospel too much (I filled in gladly when no one else would volunteer), and I found out that several members were encouraged to conceal carry in the church on Sundays.

Other than that, life is very good!

Nice to know you as well! You said y'all live in "Marble Fall" is that Texas? I misread your comment at first & thought you said you did move to Oregon, so I Googled to see where "Marble Fall" Oregon was as my brother has a friend out there who left Montana to live there. All that came up in results was Texas. So, I reread your comment & realized I needed to drink my coffee! LOL!

...If the Marble Falls I read about is where y'all live "38 miles from Austin, Texas"? Would I be wrong in thinking Austin, Texas is a Liberal city? OR far more Liberal as far as Texas cities go? It seems like I remember reading several news stories over the years coming out of Austin(I think) that I really liked. Of course, I could be mistaking it for somewhere else. Atlanta, Georgia has some nice qualities about it & there are a couple small cities in Georgia not too bad.

...My wife & I are basically in the same boat we have a small circle of like-minded friends & watch Colbert, Trevor, Samantha B & John Oliver for stress relief! LOL!

...Yeah, I'm not the church going type but I do think it is absurd "Followers of Christ" go to worship armed! I think that shows how much "Faith" they really have. IMHO. Georgia has gone bonkers with guns too...They sign a law into effect several years ago at the CRITICAL MASS of President Obama taking everyone's guns(Of course SARCASM, the hysteria was INSANE!) The law has been nicknamed "The Guns Everywhere Law" & its true! Now folks can conceal carry in churches, bars, some schools & government buildings! WTF!?! Seriously, this is not hyperbole it is fact gun laws in many states, especially the south, are weaker than mining towns in the WILD WEST! There are road rage stories on the news every week of gun battles people shooting each other & innocent bystanders getting hit by stray bullets! And you know for every story on the news there are more we never here about...Ones where no one actually got hit by a bullet.

Thanks again for the kind words! See ya around! TTYL.

I'm an Atheist & every time I talk to a Conservative Christian Republican one of the 1st things I ask them is WHY is the GOP Platform practically 100% Anti-Christ!?!?

...Then it's either a completely puzzled look or Olympic level mental gymnastics that follow!

Heck. I got married in the back yard of the home my husband grew up in, and it was a wonderful wedding, but we're now divorced and I'd happily marry again to do it in that sweet place. Any offers?

Maybe I'll ask Jeannie to marry me again.
She's said no every time over 20 years.
We've both been married before, and marriage would screw us financially.

... "if you believe Jesus loved you enough to literally get nailed to a tree for you, then why can’t you love someone enough to bake them a goddamn cake?” he said. “Don’t hide behind a god who would absolutely do the thing you’re not doing, and just love everybody. It’s hurtful and you wouldn’t want your kids treated that way.”
