When discussing politics, issues and current events, not using the proper plural form of nouns can cause confusion in the reader.
Racist: Singular form of the word.
Racists: Plural form of the word.
Example of properly using the plural form: Several ignorant racists attend every Donald Trump rally.
I'm only discussing when -ist words appear in writing. Sometimes it's hard to get that "sts" sound out at the end of the word when speaking. It's not hard to hit the s-key one more time.
The same thing applies to the word terrorist.

(25,586 posts)and should be used sparingly. A good number of posts here are just peppered with endless lines of them ten or twelve long, placed entirely at random throughout the body of the message. Where are people learning this behavior?
