Has anyone else noticed

that Democratic presidents are extremely smart to downright brilliant, and Republican presidents are extraordinarily dumb?

The Republicans have to appeal to people who have no real understanding, who see the world in--literally--black-and-white.

I'm afraid the days of William F Buckley are long gone....

George H.W. Bush was also pretty smart, if out of touch, and up to his eyeballs in Iran Contra.
