as they show the parade, and interview fans, young and the old.
Sure there were three awful incidents - two people were shot (not fatally), four were stabbed and others were injured in stampedes. Add to that the phone thieves who were out in their numbers. Those are the negatives,
On the other hand just listening to kids in school who watched the parade on TV and watching one particularly senior citizen fan brought tears to my eyes,
Those kids and the adults will never ever forget either the victory or the celebrations today.
Pity all our countries have assholes who try to spoil special moments.
I've watched lots of celebrations but I've never seen a parade this large - ever. This is like watching everyone in Jamaica at a parade.
Enjoy Canadians! I forgot how diverse you were - that is lovely to see.

(57,112 posts)that was dubbed into French. Made it even better. The dubbers had cranked up the intensity and Tony and Carmella's late night conversation in the kitchen about their daughter seem like a heavy French art film from the '60's.

We had a blast in that area... particularly because we found something really unexpected in the Niagara area... a wealth of wineries!
