What can we do for these children being detained?

Why isn't the media covering this every single day and why is Congress not doing anything? My heart is aching and I want to do something to help but I do not know what to do besides calling my Republican congressman who doesn't give a rat's ass.

like the one in McAllen, Texas. Bang on pots and pans, interview with
reporters. More exposure is needed. This is insanity.
Maybe have a music concert to attract people.
Running out of peaceful options.....

I would say gathering outside the facilities and singing peaceful protest songs in English and Spanish would be better. Or singing loud messages in Spanish that the children could hear.
