My July 4...wake early, breakfast (probably something good - Belgian Waffles with blueberries)....

Walk the dogs, water the garden - probably harvest some ripe veggies. Prep dinner - hosting our daughter and her hubby..chill some beer and wine - welcome the company, have a nice dinner - then when they head home, we will watch a movie.

No politics, no trump. (no TV for more than 10 years now, anyway) Since that harrowing night in 2016, at around 9 PM when it was clear we were going to have an non-legit so-called president due to criminal acts, I've not watched "it" for a second. Surviving this utter nightmare by ignoring it as best I can.

I don't get "national pride" and am not particularly patriotic. We are all born somewhere, and it is luck - what is there to be proud of, especially these days? I find other ways to hopefully contribute positive things to those around us.
