WATCH: Army tanks rolling through the streets of Washington, DC

Police officers on motorcycles were part of a Tuesday evening motorcade escorting U.S. Army tanks through the streets of Washington, DC.

President Donald Trump ordered the tanks for his Fourth of July rally.

The military hardware was spotted near the Washington National’s ballpark.

A National Mall ringed in tanks. “Brand new Sherman tanks,” according to Trump, suggesting that he really does plan on opening a time portal to the 1950s, since that’s the last time Sherman tanks were made.
All the prime seating devoted only to followers of Trump, with the Republican Party now handing out tickets and non-Trumpists consigned to the outer circles.
Trump standing on the stairs of the Lincoln Memorial, flanked by the heads of the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines (suck it, Coast Guard) as planes from all four services fly over and loudspeakers blare the hymns of each service. Possibly at the same time.

The facist right would have twisted their own heads off. It's really beyond belief how this lunatic can make each day stranger than the day before. For two and a half years he has pulled that off.

History will call him the dictator president. Books will be written to try to figure out the perfect storm that elected him. In the end, it will be decided it was caution. The left is too cautious with the right. They need to show more disdain. Obama should have addressed the nation and said, My fellow Americans, the Russians are trying to influence who you vote for.

You cannot play to not lose. You must play to win.
