Spanky isn't getting any of those "new" Sherman tanks. Too bad, so sad.

Looks like lots and lots of tanks out there. Impressive. Too bad for Trump. He just gets a few sitting idle near where he'll speak. People will snicker at him, I bet...

Trump doesn't get any tanks going past. There will be just a few, sitting silently and mocking him.

almost a year before the USA became involved in World War II. He had, however, rescued the country from the rePuke-caused Great Depression, and for that alone he deserved any kind of parade he wanted.
tRump, the Orange Menace, is not worth the lint off FDR's socks. Or anyone else's, actually. Even W. Bush, Milhouse Nixon, and Ronald (blech!) Ray-gun were better presidents and human beings than tRump.

I don't think that people had the same worries about FDR. Actually, I probably would've shrugged had any other President (other than maybe George W. Bush) in modern history did this.

My point was that tanks have driven down Penna. Ave. in the past. Trump wanted tanks. No tanks will be driving on the roads, thanks to concerns by the military and others. Trump 0 - Good sense 1.

Trump's thing is about pure ego and fantasy.

I read an article earlier this week that said that rural America had completely missed out on the economy since before 2007. Many areas are becoming more run down, young people that have the skills and money to leave, leave and don't look back, but most don't have the money to leave, so they stay and the despair gets worse. The companies that are driving the new economy have no reasons to locate anything in those places.
