“White House officials and allies are wringing their hands over the risk of the hastily arranged event morphing into Trump’s Inauguration 2.0, in which the size of the crowd and the ensuing media coverage do not meet the president’s own outsized expectations for the event,” Politico reports.

Maggie Haberman: “The big question for the fireworks display that is concerning folks around POTUS, per multiple administration officials — will the crowds actually show up, or will this be inauguration redux?”

Jon Lemire: “A real concern, considering late notice/little publicity for the event, and that locals in deeply blue DC may not show up.”

Making the most ridiculous claims ever they spotted a crowd of about ten people. One asked the orher, "i see the first arrivals prepared to camp out"

Another claimed a "source" that six battalions of soldiers were marching with a tank.

Wtf?

Not a military person but how many in just one battalion?

Then there will be all the bigwigs from the party who are invited and of course all the "extras" he will hire to cheer for him. I doubt there will be many others, the only question is how many thousands will he hire to make the pix look good?

Nothing beyond the baby trump blimp and sales of a John McCain t-shirt, so far.

What an absolute travesty this is. July 4 may never be the same for me, now that trump has fucked it over so badly.
