The Capitol Fourth was the best I have ever seen.....

....I cried a little at the sweetness and love of country and of people of all kinds that was so palpable in the performances and the music and the audience.

And Muppets.

I loved the Muppets 'This Land is Your Land' and the Moon landing remembrance. PBS knows how to do the 4th of July. Remembering The Boston Pops Orchestra with Arthur Fiedler back in the day.
