I'm not seeing any of the orange one's followers try to defend his dumb speech....

I usually see them coming to his defense after he puts both feet in his mouth. Yet those that I see usually are quite.
Granted they may have decided to take the day off from backing their "fearless leader".

Or they can't. Their kids heard what he said and probably told their parents that he was wrong. And now they really don't know what to say....
