The Continental Army was evidently involved in the Battle at Fort McHenry in Baltimore, which took place during the War of 1812. At one point in the speech, he quoted portions of “The Star-Spangled Banner,” written in 1814 by Francis Scott Key about the Maryland battle.

"And then they took over the airports. At Fort McHenry, under the rockets’ red glare, it had nothing but victory. And when dawn came, their star-spangled banner waived defiant.”

(Damn, I really wish I hadn't snoozed during those history classes.)

People, this is the President of the United States speaking. It's why impeachment and the 25th Amendment came into being. And both were meant to be used when necessary. If not applied to Trump, then who will it they ever be applied to? If not now, when?

I’d like to dedicate this Fourth of July to George Washington: the first President of the United States, Commander-in-Chief of the Continental Army and one of the most badass fighter pilots in American history.
