Sensata Employees Arrive in Tampa To Meet Mitt Romney

A story we reported on August 13, 2012 continues on for the Sensata employees who’s jobs are being outsourced by Bain Capital.


The employees have arrived in Tampa at the Republican National Convention to speak to Mitt Romney. So far, Romney has refused to meet with them, has refused responsibility for the outsourcing of their jobs to China.

The employees asked Mitt Romney to help save their jobs, they sent him a letter at his campaign headquarters and they police were called against them. Romney’s camp even called them “Communists” for attempting to save their jobs. The more the employees were dismissed the more they fought for their jobs which is what takes them to the RNC Convention today in Tampa.

Neil Bush, the brother and son of two former United States presidents has caused an online stir in notoriously secretive China with a provocative photograph he posted on the the censored social network Weibo.
Standing wearing a green cap with a Cultural Revolution era-red star, a 'Serve the People' shoulder bag and a tin Mao Zedong mug, the 57-year-old uploaded the picture with the caption, 'I'm thinking of joining the CCP (Chinese Communist Party). What do you think of my accessories?'
