The sad thing is this is actually TRUTH. Which says so much about the content of a certain communities character.

There will be no riot in the US. It is not the path I will travel as a witness to the futility.

It could happen elsewhere.

Armed revolts by Right-Wing terrorists (aka militia) groups would become increasingly likely. And, of course, all kinds of civil lawsuits would ensue, if guns were confiscated, on a large scale.

Who remembers this NRA bumper sticker slogan?
"I'll give you my gun when you pry (or take) it from my cold, dead hands" is a slogan popularized by the National Rifle Association (NRA) on a series of bumper stickers.

For the next six months, [Democratic presidential candidate and then-Vice President of the United States, Al Gore] is going to smear you as the enemy. He will slander you as gun-toting, knuckle-dragging, bloodthirsty maniacs who stand in the way of a safer America. Will you remain silent? I will not remain silent. Heston then paused to pick up a replica of a flintlock long rifle and continued:
