Prosecutors just told the court that in the last 36 hours the office has been contacted by attorneys and people who said they were victims, none of whom the office has previously spoken with.

Odds are they will work out a house detention deal where he will surrender his passports, agree to have his airplanes impounded, wear an ankle monitor, pay for surveillance of the premises, and not leave the house.

It's easy to reflexively say "flight risk", but the fact that he does own a large secure facility already and can pay the cost of his own detention there also makes it hard to keep saying that in the face of escalating offers for secure detention.

The same could have been said of, for example, Bill Cosby.

and people are routinely bound over without bail for trial when egregious crimes are alleged. I haven't read the indictment, only pieces of it. I think the prosecution is arguing for no bail and hope they prevail.
