1. Just why did Acosta let Epstein off so easy? A reporter looking to make a name for him or herself should look into how he spent his vacation time.

2. Where's the guy who shot up the pizza place? Has anyone told him about these latest developments? When is he getting out of jail? Surely he would amuse himself by browsing gun shows...

but there's no telling yet.

I have a prediction that may very well be true: Acosta was one of them. Why else would any sane adult cover up such vile, vicious behavior?

Yes, I know I violated a rule of logic ("why else blah blah?" ), but I don't care. If Acosta has a perfectly good and reasonable explanation as to why he allowed a serial child rapist to skate with a little slap on the wrist, let's hear it.

Had that flash about him, for the reason that how/why would you get a healthy person to do the dirty work?

Now I'm curious about Acosta's previous cases, pre-Epstein.

As a prosecutor, trying to take down someone who can outspend you by orders of magnitude defending themselves ... is a VERY risky proposition.

Hell, look at the SHIT Trump has gotten away with over the decades.

Why? Cause he can outspend prosecutors, or whoever sues him.

I'm not going so far as to say Acosta WASN'T involved himself, mind you, but there is a 'reasonable' explanation for why he'd have crafted the deal, and that was to NOT blow his entire budget for the year on one case.

Rich people have set shit up like this for themselves all across the friggin' board.

Trump's modeling agency. How does that fit in? Epstein once said that he wanted to use the Trump modeling agency as a template.

and it sounds as if Trump was maybe a step or 2 ahead of what Epstein wanted to create.
but we also now that trump has been named as being at the parties Epstein threw.

birds of a feather?

After seeing the photographs of trump posing his daughter and with clothes much too old for her at the time, I have zero doubt he and Epstein share similar tastes in little girls.

It seems they fly by the seat of their pants when it comes to fulfilling their jobs.

I've never heard whether or not Epstein is married (highly doubtful) or has any legal children. If not, I hope every penny of his wealth goes to his victims. If he is found guilty, he surely doesn't deserve to enjoy any of his luxuries. I would think he's come to the end of his road with this go-round (and those he takes with him).

Barr has to be tearing his hair out in trying to figure out how to get the boss out of trouble on this one. Too bad, so sad! NOT!

Witness the studies on the closest relatives to the Frothy RiteWing Apes - the alpha males get the "droit du seigneur" until they are no longer alpha. Sorry, epstein. You're going to meet some much more alphas in your few remaining years.

it's actually genetic in nature ... IOW, people are 'born this way'?

But, IF that were true, might that not perhaps put one in bit of quandary in terms of just how much heaping of condemnation is actually appropriate?

I'm going with Epstein is a totally one-of-a-kind, willfully and wantonly defective creep.

New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, a billionaire whose team has won six Super Bowls, was charged with soliciting sex at a $79 an hour day spa in Jupiter, part of a sweeping Florida sex trafficking sting that netted hundreds of johns over the past two weeks.

Because his law firm defended Epstein.

On a completely unrelated coincidence, there is a common strain of Herpes virus called Epstein-Barr. You can't make this stuff up.

When you have that kind of wealth there isn't any debauchery that is off limits.

Why is Acosta Secretary of Labor when he let a serial sex trafficker of the hook? He is the type of guy who will let a serial sex trafficker off the hook with the right phone call and that is who people with that much wealth want to be in charge.

Yes, I think this human trafficking sex abuse ring is far bigger than anyone can imagine, and Acosta's appointment does not feel coincidental in the least.

But the U.S. Government's effort to monitor and combat human trafficking is inter-departmental.

"The President’s Interagency Task Force to Monitor and Combat Trafficking in Persons (PITF) is a cabinet-level entity created by the Trafficking Victims Protection Act (TVPA) of 2000, which consists of some 15 agencies across the federal government responsible for coordinating U.S. government-wide efforts to combat trafficking in persons."

https://www.state.gov/u-s-government-entities-combating-human-trafficking/

What I'm saying here is think even bigger.
