If you find yourself in a war, you can maintain your opposition to violence if you choose to, but if

you refuse to defend yourself, your choices are pretty much either get killed or hide and hope for the best.

If your only response to being cheated, lied to, defrauded, insulted and ridiculed is to whine about how "this isn't right", you are encouraging your abusers.

My mother taught me to "turn the other cheek". My father taught me that there are only four cheeks on the human body.

Is it not time to discuss "radical" options like authorizing an "impeachment investigation" by the House Judiciary Committee?

Should Democrats do everything possible go "defund" virtually anything that benefits Trump?

Would it be unreasonable for the House Democrats to walk en masse down to the White House and call for Trump to meet them at the fence---in front of the cameras---to publicize 1.) the crimes against humanity being committed in our name at our southern border; 2.) the insanity of the Trump regime's insistence that global climate change is a hoax; or, 3.) Trump's ongoing criminal obstruction of justice?

You can explain till you are blue in the face how the Democrats are actually "taking the high road" and "doing all that is reasonably possible" while maintaining their status as "the adults in the room" but, in the eyes of a large swath of the electorate, we are "tsk-tsking" while Trump eats our lunch AND drinks our milkshake.

The time for "polite" and "civil" is past. Get mad or get out of the way.
