Derek Johnson tweet; "He is not your son. Sleep peacefully..."

Derek Johnson ✔ @derekjGZ

"If it was your son
you would fill the sea
with ships all by the millions
acting as a bridge
to get it through.
But don't worry,
He's just a child of lost humanity,
of dirty humanity,
which makes no noise.
He is not your son.
Sleep peacefully,
it's not yours."

Is that his inflatable boat behind him?

Whoever he is, he breaks my heart. I just want to reach out and pick him up to comfort him.

I hope he’s safe. (And not in one of our kiddie concentration camps).

Will he remember the dangerous voyage -- or the safe and humane treatment he received when he came ashore?

Or will his treatment, once ashore, bring him even more danger and horror from the hatred of those whose land he has reached?

A vicious would-be emperor and his empowered sycophants have ensured that the children of Central America who reach our borders -- after a thousand mile march away from corruption, murder, and horror -- will enter the gates of hell, be ill fed, left thirsty, unwashed, isolated from those they depended on for protection. If they succeed in finding safe harbor in America, perhaps the warmth of caring neighbors and extended family will help to soothe the rips in their hearts and souls. Perhaps.

But if they are forcibly removed and sent away, those who survive will remember. And their memories are likely to create not a thirst for peace but a ravenous hunger for revenge in their hearts.

America, beware the struggling little stranger you treat with hatred, cruelty, and brutality. He may be kin to Timujin.

Just sayin'.

Early Manhood for Muhammad Najem in Eastern Ghouta
By Hana Levi Julian - February 28, 2018
https://www.jewishpress.com/news/middle-east/syria/early-manhood-for-muhammad-najem-in-eastern-ghouta/2018/02/28/

(snips)
In the once-beautiful region around Damascus known as eastern Ghouta, manhood has come early to a 15-year-old teenage boy who uses social media to share the horror of the world around him.

More than 400,000 civilians have been left hungry, sick and under siege as the Syrian regime continues its bombing campaign. Muhammad Najem contends the missiles are sometimes loaded with napalm.
------------
Having accused President Bashar al-Assad from the outset of “killing his childhood,” Najem now tweets his calls to those in the international community to take action “before it is too late.”

Russia, says Najem, is a “state of occupation in Syria” and the failed truce “just to cover up its crimes in the killing of children and women in the eastern Ghouta and to emerge as a state sponsor of peace, not war.”

they call themselves!

They ignore just about everything that Jesus taught, everything he stood for, and everything he said. I don't understand how they can call themselves Christian and then hate everything that Christianity stands for!

Just as Trump is destroying everything that the Republican Party stood for, these people calling themselves Christians are working to destroy Christianity!

I wish we could keep those seeking asylum and throw out the awful people supporting the torture and inhumane treatment of these poor people.
