Mostly, I couldn't stand it. And I hear that most of the bikes they build were crap, which isn't surprising considering they were always running late, mostly because of all the fighting and yelling at each other they did.

Philosophically, the graphic kind of nails it, though.

All of these kinds of shows do the same thing. On Food Network, Robert Irvine had a show called Dinner: Impossible. The premise was that he had eight hours to plan, shop for, and prepare a dinner for a large number of people, after first learning of the assignment. During the show, he was constantly hectoring the assistants to get things done. In one show Guy Fieri was a guest, and Irvine was screaming at people to complete things. Fieri looked at him and said, "You really want the entree done four hours before service?"

It was all contrived.

at least not mine. I tend to avoid environments where everybody is yelling at each other. It's not pleasant and it's kind of hard to get things done.
