It's much bigger than this

I put down my phone for a few minutes and quickly realized that:
1. That 3/4 moon was still up in the sky and really looked nice tonight.
2. My dog still loves me and her ball.
3. My koi (30+) still are bungry

So I need to stop stressing about the Republicans and what those fuckers are doing. Time for a second glass of wine.
Cheers

I finished my granddaughter’s baby quilt tonight!

I think I’ll go check out that moon.

I was just outside having a smoke and gazed for a little while.

For anyone interested: The bright yellowish thing near the Moon is Jupiter. The blinking red star below both of them is Antares. Saturn is visible now, too, but it's hidden behind the trees of my side yard and I was feeling too lazy to walk across the paddock to get a view.

I moved last weekend and it's so nice to be back out in the country again. Didn't realize how bad the light pollution was at my old place until seeing how bright and plentiful the stars are here. I think I'm going to unearth my old telescope this weekend and renew a long-dormant hobby.

Cheers!
