General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsHave we arrived at the point where it is "acceptable" to choose the specific "reality"
we prefer?
Though the universe of possibilities keeps expanding past its previously unthinkable boundaries, the current extremes seem to range from total Democratic victory in '20, Trump et al go to prison and democracy is saved to Trump and his mutants prevail and hunting liberals with dogs becomes the new national sport.
I suspect reality lies somewhere in between those outliers, but the tragedy is that we can no longer persuade some of our fellow Americans of that.

The propagandic point being pushed is that there is no reality.
They're telling us they're proudly ignorant, stupid, and can and will make up any reality they feel like, sort of a reverse shambala. The subtext is them saying 'Let's start the conversation about some unreality I proclaim. I control reality by controlling you into a discussion about my unreality-based beliefs.' Fuck them.
Bit of a stretch to accuse the other side of an equal and opposite unreality base extremism. On our side, it's just fervent hope, a will to power.

Maybe we can compromise on what breeds of dogs. Like, German Shepherds, but not Dobermans.
We have to work across the aisle on these things.
but it is not as if these types respect current seasons or limits.
