(102,361 posts)that started it off), pointed out that Trump's inaugural speech was every bit as critical of the US as anything the "squad" said and cited some of NYT Peter Baker's column stating the same. He countered every bit of spin in my opinion. It was a long segment and I thought he kept nailing him. Certainly, much better than Chuck Todd or most of the others have been doing lately.

And after Nicolle's deeply important soul-searching hour that made me cry. She played video of Obama singing "Amazing Grace" and it made me cry. The conversation 'round the table was dead serious and important.
And then a Trump stooge was allowed to spew to Alexander.

(102,361 posts)I only paused because Peter Alexander was interrupting and imho holding his feet to the fire. Yes, it is a typical Trumpster representative, but I really do think Alexander did a FAR better job than Todd, Tweety, Chris Hayes and Ali Melber have been doing lately.
