Trump is now selling his own plastic straws because 'liberal paper straws don't work'

There is nothing that Trump and his supporters enjoy more than 'owning the libs' and they will literally go to no ends in order to achieve their dreams.

This includes contributing to the planet's plastic problem because Trump's team doesn't like the fact that paper straws are now a thing and plastic straws are slowly being phased out.

On the merchandise section of Trump's official website, supporters can now purchase a pack of 10 red plastic straws with the word 'Trump' printed on it for the pricey sum of $15.

Yup, that's right, that's $1.50 per straw. Or, if you're from the Uk, £1.20. Which, we're going to ahead and point out is more than the recommended retail price of a can of coca cola.

Grifting while helping to ruin the planet... impressive even by Trump standards!

I have a few of those insulated drink cups with a lid and a plastic straw. I use 'em for smoothies. The insides of the straws don't rinse clean easily. Half the time, I have to run a pipe cleaner through them to get the gunk out before I run them through the dishwasher. The ones with an accordion bend in them are particularly hard to clean. If the flying monkeys want to throw away a ton of money on those dumb things, they're welcome to do so. Not going to piss off this liberal to see them do that. I'll be laughing my ass off at them. I doubt they'll make the effort to clean them properly, and when they get sick from it, oh well.

A woman in England died after falling onto a reusable metal straw, which pierced her head, and the tragic accident has renewed debate over bans on plastic straws, according to news reports.

I might just leave them in the basement for the future "collector" to find them. In a 100 years they should be collectible.

Here in Ontario. I have a Tim Hortons reusable plastic coffee cup with plastic lid. I find I can use it for cold drinks too.
Canadian Tire sells reusable metal straws with cleaning brush as do other department stores.

People are becoming aware of plastic pollution. Many of us think going back to glass jars on most things would be best. I remember glass milk bottles.

Our beer and liquor bottle are deposit added when purchasing. Pop cans and plastic bottles should be also deposit.

Not all of it, but they do carry products from a dairy in the region that puts all of its products in glass. I don't buy a lot of milk, but I do use their half and half--when I can get it. It's often sold out.

I followed the link, but got bombarded with so many pop-up and video streams I couldn't see any mention of their point of origin.

Perhaps the same sweatshops in China that produce his campaign banners and Iskanka's overpriced merchandise are cranking these out.

BTW, if someone ever hands you one of these, take a red Sharpie, cover the "T" and then hand it back to that person. See if they can figure out where you think it should be inserted.

you get far better light with like 1/7 the wattage. If this country all thought like Republicans we

long before plastic straws were even invented. At soda fountains two narrow straws came packaged in paper in a holder on every counter - they could be used together as one, or two might share an ice cream soda with a straw apiece.
