She asks the most absurd questions, whether she's talking to Democrats or ridiculous Pubs trying to defend the Dumpster.
"Is President Trump a racist?" Duh.
"Will this spoil his re-election chances?" I fucking hope so.
"Is he causing an uptick in hate crimes in the country?" Double duh.
These questions have already been answered 10000000000000 times. How about some more probing inquiries, Alex?

(3,115 posts)Trying to provoke anger from both sides, but it's all so predictable. All they can say is the same stuff.
Then she has Dump's final African American defender on to say he isn't racist. Jesus Christ.

(287 posts)She actually let a racist pos rethug off the hook because she was just too tired (her words) to do her actual job and challenge the lies that were just spewed. Seriously. She needs to be gone.

inane questions already given inane answers a thousand times to dilute and obfuscate the effect of more fact-oriented interviews? Effective propagandists protect their "credibility" by typically hiding disinformation among palatable truths that also help them go down quickly and smoothly.
On cable, there's more served up to daytime and weekend viewers than the at least somewhat more discerning audiences of their evening shows, which also have more powerful anchors than many of the low-budget day and weekend ones.
In any case, we KNOW MSNBC has not just smeared Hillary Clinton over its entire lifespan but that in 2015-2016 it revved up to swiftboating her and the Democratic Party. Everyone knew anyone who wanted to be invited on, or at least back again, had to smear our candidate for president on demand. This played a very significant part in electing Donald Trump and keeping Republicans in power in congress and many state governments.
And the same people are still in charge there and at upper levels.

(14,689 posts)I spent years watching MSNBC faithfully. However in recent years the content quality has suffered. It's certainly better than FOX but really it's just news entertainment. Katy Tur and Chris Hayes are still worth tuning in for, but their contributors are just awful. Including, but not limited to, Donny Deutsch, Zerlina Maxwell, Jason Johnson, Mimi Rocah, Chuck Todd, and Joy Reid.
The time I spent watching MSNBC has been replaced reading newspapers and more online content.
