John Dean (CNN) said the letter from DOJ to Mueller was from lower ranking officer.

He made the point that it was not from Barr or anyone at the top of the Justice Department?

He seemed to be making the point that the letter was insignificant and that Mueller should simply ignore it?

Did anyone see that clip on CNN this morning?

The only thing that concerns me is if Mueller is actually planning to use this as a defense against answering questions he really doesn't WANT to answer.

I still hold out hope that his integrity carries the day, but this is concerning.
