Does this tweet sum up the entire morning session (not the substance, but the appearance?)

this felt like putting a cat in a suit: the cat made it pretty clear he didn’t want to be in the suit, but folks persisted in putting him in the suit, and when he was in the suit it was fun for no one

If you aren't prepared to defend your report but instead just sit there and "yep that is what it says...."

Even that has value but seems he just enjoys being a whipping boy for his own party.

It seems apparent to me he is divorced from all the Fox news spin, as he's seemed more amazed and confused (along with annoyed) by the RW talking points/accusations/memes.

I believe those who say he has never been very political. To be fair, he was absolutely lauded by everyone when he took the SC position, so that degree of naivete' is really not out of the question.

makkes it slow and frustrating to communicate. I know cuz hubby is only now seeing an audiologist after years of sarcastic remarks about how I should speak up because of how small and weak my voice is. Enough! It is your ers, adorable 72 year old! lol

chatter becomes a real issue. Shoot, while I still have pretty good hearing, "confused" hearing around lots of background noise started for me in my 20's.

he ACTED like he had hearing issues. The bits of the testimony I listened to seemed he mostly asked republicans to repeat their questions. I think he was running out the clock on them to limit their dumbassery toward him.

If you were expecting a “Few Good Men” type pyrotechnic courtroom moment, your expectations were wrong. I thought the key criminal elements of the report were confirmed - live and on record. There is plenty there to prosecute Trump in the court of public opinion.
