We should stop pretending- Gorsuch and Kavanaugh were nominated by an illegitimate president who stole the election and therefore Dems should ignore any of these 3-4 decisions.

Don’t be afraid.

“2 votes are illegitimate. The president stole his election with voter suppression and a lot of help from Russia. Gorsuch and Kavanaugh are not real justices. They’re illegitimate and need to be impeached.”

Lifetime appointments is just wrong...

I can see 10 year terms, or even 12...not lifetime

Thirty-three amendments to the United States Constitution have been proposed by the United States Congress and sent to the states for ratification since the Constitution was put into operation on March 4, 1789. Twenty-seven of these, having been ratified by the requisite number of states, are part of the Constitution.

and they -- or a new judge -- would be installed in the term of a new President sufficiently removed from their original benefactor that the politics of the nation may have shifted to something different.

(This is for the Supreme Court. Lower courts would be on a shorter term limit -- probably 12 years max, but I like 10 as that would be enough that the reappointment/replacement would be in another President's term.)

Counterbalance Illegitimate Gorsuch and Kavanaugh with 4 new judges. Then go from there. Can be done easily. Constitution does not give size of SCOTUS.

when any of those funds can be embezzled by the President. For example, how can they provide decent housing for the military when the money is taken out of their budgets?
