My guess is Trump's DC Hotel has a big problem with real Rodents too, and Trump just found out.

In my 45+ years working in kitchens and bakeries all over the East Coast, most my days were spent in my early years working in Baltimore. Starting in my Dad's NE Baltimore Bakery.

In the later 10+ years of my career, I've worked as a food safety, 3rd party audit-trainer. During that time I have closely inspected kitchens, bakeries, commissaries etc. in literally hundreds of food-service facilities from c-stores to kitchens serving members of all three branches of our federal government in DC and surrounding areas.

In short. I know a bit about Rodent infestations in Baltimore and DC. From finding, to eliminating them and everything in-between. Including having large Norway Rats run over my shoes.

I have never inspected the old DC post office or Trump's hotel, but I have inspected multiple kitchens in a much larger building just a stone's throw away, dozens of times. Also, many of the (mostly expensive) restaurants in the same small area of DC and nearby Georgetown.

So, considering Trump's sudden concern about rodents this morning, in offensive tweets about Chairman Cummings and Baltimore, I'm certain he knows his slimy DC hotel is full of more than the two-legged rats we all know already inhabit his personal swamp.

And I think he may have just seen one himself, or maybe a bad inspection report or he found out in someway that pushed him off the edge and make him decide to blame Cummings and Baltimore for his personal-business rodent mess.

Just my personal, yet very informed, opinion!

So glad (NOT) to see that trash heap trump dumping on this area, where like it or not he lives (allegedly) now.

And thanks for your work! I worked for 20+ years across the street from the Old Post Office Pavilion, bought quick lunches @ it's food court, took my daughters there (to a candy place,) and bought the shoes I wore at my wedding there. It WAS a good place, kind of a white elephant for years.

SADDEST for me to see demise of https://www.yelp.com/biz/les-halles-de-paris-washington @ 1201 Penn Ave, nearby.

Now you have me trying to guess where you worked! I wish I could tell you where I have inspected. I could have been at your workplace! Of course I understand that you may not be able to tell me, either!

Not sure it was housed there at first, but might have been.

'Seven of the buildings in Federal Triangle were built by the U.S. federal government in the early and mid-1930s as part of a coordinated construction plan that has been called "one of the greatest building projects ever undertaken"[1] and all seven buildings are now designated as architecturally historic.' https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Federal_Triangle

Not the insect type, but the electronic type so Trump can work his blackmail magic.

What else is there to say? My apologies to the ARS = American Rodent Society. I know it is insulting to be associated with Donald Trump but I believe that is where he belongs, because he really is a rat. (low level)

That book.
Those rats.
That once-impeccable fantastic money-grubbing hotel, RUINED.

Repeat it three times and it will become FACT.

Snip-"Trump, seemingly borrowing from a Fox & Friends segment on the same topic, tweeted that Cummings’s district is “FAR WORSE and more dangerous” than conditions at the border. He suggested Cummings focus his attention instead on cleaning up “this very dangerous & filthy place.”

Snip-"An hour before Trump went off on Cummings, Fox & Friends ran a piece called, “How do living conditions in Rep. Cummings’ Baltimore district compare to those at the border?” It showed footage of Baltimore streets overrun with garbage and claimed that Cummings was ignoring the
problems of his own constituents."

F that guy.
