My great-great grandfather, Robert Williams, is buried at a location between the two dots on the Columbia River. There is actually a marker with his name on it on a gravel road along the trail. He died in 1852. He was coming from Wales with his two-year-old son, wife, and brother. He died from "bad water". I guess you could accuse him of being a bad parent, too. I think he wanted a better life for his family.

They were tough and brave people!
