And these days with all the terrorism fears and the serious increase in migrations that global warming guarantees will only continue to explode in numbers, VERY few people, including Democrats, would want them.

I liked what we used to have when we lived in SoCal. We could cross to meet a friend for lunch or whatever, and as long as we stayed in border areas no passport was required. In fact, now that I think of it, we didn't need them for anywhere we went in Mexico and we vacationed there a bunch of times. There were border guards but only rare pull-overs for inspection. It was free and unoppressive, and appropriate to friendly neighboring peoples.

And honestly, I don’t know how we deny it.

Although I doubt the American people want Trumps wall, I know they don’t want “open borders”, or free health care for undocumented immigrants either.
