Armed guards on every floor!
Armed guards here and there!
Armed guards everywhere!
So says Hannity. This is spoken by a guy who has NEVER stood guard duty. A bored guard is the first to die, that's why we stood in four hour shifts. Whatever manning level Sean came up with, multiply it by four. People will call in sick or have an accident. Others will quit. Hannity wants to use retired cops, service members and other professionals.
What is your budget Sean? Who will pay? Wouldn't it just be easier to ban assault weapons?
We are turning into a worse version of Mexico. They have armed guards all over.
Biggest difference? The population is not armed. (Drug cartels excepted)
Take another try at the answer Sean!
Oh, and stay safe.
Why is the answer always 'more guns'?
(A forensic analysis of Sean's recent bank account transactions is warranted.)
Anyhow - what sane retired cop would want the job of being target number 1 in the next shooting?

(11,102 posts)There were armed cops everywhere in Dayton. The shooter was dead within 30 seconds. He still ten killed and wounded twenty-seven. My guess is that every third person in the El Paso Walmart was armed.
I don't care how many armed guards there are. At best, they can hope to only limit the carnage to the merely horrible.
ON EDIT: I apologize for the language. I was raised better. I'm just that pissed.

(3,678 posts)I don't get why the manufacturers are barely ever mentioned. People always cite the NRA.
The media should be announcing the BRAND NAME and model right along with every shooting.

(18,679 posts)That the military be used used as the lead federal agency. To ensure they obey it will be required that generals swear allegiance to the POTUS.
It wasn't explicitly stated but I assume the military forces will be armed .
