A quote from a novel that I comes too close to the truth.

"Absurdities are never laughed at there (in the streets); only listened to. What is too absurd to believe is believed because it is too absurd to be a lie." Lord of Chaos by Robert Jordan.

I am proud that we go high when they go low, but am totally bamboozled as to how to fight against the absurdities of this Lord of Chaos. I know that many think that those taken in are a lost cause. However I refuse to write off 35-40% of the nation. There has to be some way to heal the awful divisions that are the worst since the Civil War. Every time I have a feeling of hope The haters work to kill it, sometime with guns as in JFK, RFK and MLK Jr., or by making absurdity a reality.

Sorry for the downer post. The senseless killing and hatred is weighing me down.
