A Nieson TV rep came a knockin tonight

said I was selected as the only person in my area to be a part of their TV ratings, for money, gifts. I think the hardwired folks get like $20 a month. I had to turn them down as I explained the only tv show I watch, other than binge watching HBO series, is the one hour Rachel Maddow show . TBH, I wouldn't even have cable if it wasn't a package deal that I'm soon to tire of.

where I get local channels + 10 cable channels of my choosing. It was hard to come up with 10! One of my decisions was no cable news, and that has definitely enhanced my quality of life.

Spectrum, formerly Time-Warner, who I was not happy with in the past. But so far on this system (about 1.5 years) it has been pretty good. I'd give it A- overall.
