Should blocking US Congresswomen from entering Israel effect US foreign aid?

Personally, I find it insulting and tRump-like that Israel had the audacity to bar Congress critters from visiting their country when the Congress is pouring billions in US aid into Israel.

Should there be repercussions?

been discussed behind the scenes that such actions might well have repercussions.

But, how would that be done when it was the current "President" himself demanding they ban them?

But, yes, there ought to be a strong message of some kind sent. R's in Congress are not going to like it when their own travel that runs counter to a future administration's policies and goals is refused.

I'm deeply offended by this action by Netanyahu and company. And, yes, there OUGHT to be repercussions.

Eliminate it? Not necessarily. With what has recently happened my answer would be no. I would temporarily kick their ambassadors out of our country and pull ours for a very short period of time.

Then again, that would probably just lead to great American embarrassment. I feel that few know our dirty secrets like the Israelis.

Trump as now made support for a Likud Government a partisan issue.

Before now support for Israel was a nonpartisan issue. Due to this action that is no longer the case.

They will rue this episode the next time we have a Democratic President.

If the first Israel policy action a president Biden or Warren took was moving our embassy back to Tel Aviv it would rock Israeli politics. And remind them who pays their bills.

instead of con man and bad actor, something like that could be used against Israel to get Omar and Tlaib entrance behind the scenes.
