(118,696 posts)The US public may evolve again within that time. There may be a recession. Tax cuts did nothing for wages. You never know where 'realistic' will be by then.

In the meantime, how many millions of people are being given a false hope that MfA will somehow happen in the next Democratic president's term?
When MfA is clearly not possible in the next few years, then what is the plan B? Or will it be MfA or nothing?
