Its infuriating, like something out of Kafka.
Its as if someone has proclaimed the President of the United States is now a baked potato, and were somehow forced to deal with the reality that the President is a baked potato.

(9,500 posts)Is that our media treat him like he isn't the lying POS that he is. At what point does a person not lose all credibility because of the lies he tells.

They would treat him as the threat to humanity he is to the rest of us.

(63,221 posts)applies in this instance. It's like we have been removed from the reality we had always known and have been plopped down into a new, bizarre reality that our minds aren't able to adjust to, so we end up feeling like we are the ones who are insane.
Like we woke up and found out that our president was a giant cockroach. But only a few of us could see that he was a giant cockroach and huge crowds of people loved and adored the cockroach and wore cockroach hats and shirts and would believe everything the cockroach said, no matter how false or stupid it was.
And the rest of us just stood there and watched, because we couldn't believe what we were seeing was really true.
