We are in danger: Trump is clearly mentally ill & unfit for office. @SpeakerPelosi should do her job & impeach him already. Also convene a commission to find out if he actually believes he is the King of the Jews and is heralding the second coming.
For Context here is Trump's complete set of tweets this morning:

Thank you to Wayne Allyn Root for the very nice words. President Trump is the greatest President for Jews and for Israel in the history of the world, not just America, he is the best President for Israel in the history of the world...and the Jewish people in Israel love him....
....like hes the King of Israel. They love him like he is the second coming of God...But American Jews dont know him or like him. They dont even know what theyre doing or saying anymore. It makes no sense! But thats OK, if he keeps doing what hes doing, hes good for..... all Jews, Blacks, Gays, everyone. And importantly, hes good for everyone in America who wants a job. Wow!

(2,947 posts)if this was occurring. As Nov. 2020 draws closer, he'll leave office based on 25th Amendment, Pence takes over, and the defense to Trump's criminal and civil cases that could be filed is that he's not competent to stand trial. He won't be institutionalized for his craziness, he'll get a presidential pension, and he'll be free to keep spouting his garbage. I can't help but think that he was planning to retire on Epstein's island.

(45,514 posts)he's compared his Art of the Deal to the Bible on the campaign trail.

@ the top his class @ Wharton or the he was or still is a billionaire businessman that
he played on "The Apprentice."

(11,272 posts)if it is the Wharton that everyone thinks of, Wharton business school.
He attended a college at Penn called Wharton, but as an undergrad, and his profs remember him as stupid.
Botany
(70,566 posts)And yes the famous Wharton Business School is known for its MBA program and
Trump was nowhere near to being in that program. Outside of being physically
close to it.
BTW "the story" is that Fred Trump paid people to take the classes for Trump
when he was @ the University of Penn.

(5,737 posts)The Romans had heard rumors and took the threat seriously and literally, not spiritually. Above him on the cross they put a mocking plaque that read, "Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews." That is the INRI you see, the first letters of the Latin: Iesu Nazareti Rex Judaeorum.

(26,289 posts)He's a conservative who is sometimes Jewish, sometimes Evangelical Christian, at one time or another, is either a Republican or a Libertarian. And, a radio host who pushes conspiracy theories. In other words, a typical trump* supporter.

(6,907 posts)The book of revelation was about Caesar. Remember, although Julius Caesar declared himself a God he didn't overcome the senate to end the republic and begin the empire, that was his heir Augustus. So if this was some science fiction story about our time line, Trump wouldn't be the re-coming of the anti-Christ, it would be his heir Kushner, at 666 freaking 5th avenue. Trump plays Julius' role as the anti-John the Baptist clearing the way, and his daughter is the whore of babylon. The crazy right wing falls all over themselves for it, just like they were supposed to and just like nobody could understand how they could fall for it. They are the freaking roman mob entertained with bread and circus. They will be lining up to get the sign of the beast from their strong man any day now.
Also, if this was some science fiction story about our timeline everyone would criticize it for being too unbelievable.

(11,575 posts)They are fully prepared to go down with the ship, no matter what. I can't imagine anything Trump may say or do, no matter how unhinged or bizarre, that would prompt Republicans to honor their oaths of office and protect our country. They have shown us who they are; we should believe them. It will be left to the Democrats to protect and save our country. It's also the same every time Republicans tank the economy; it's left to the Democrats to repair the damage. Some things never change.

(58,785 posts)Trump knows he has followers who will soak it up, and it fits the long patterns of campaign noise that got him elected. And of course it's ridiculously flattering, and we know he soaks that up and loves to pass it on.
We are clearly in danger. But if Nance has clear evidence of mental illness in Trump, not just idiocy in too many voters, he needs to produce that.

(115,826 posts)for one thing, I doubt Trump even believes in Jesus, at least not the divine version; and anyhow in Trump's mind being Trump is better than being Jesus. But he loves it if someone else thinks he's Jesus and he'll milk that for all it's worth. I do believe Trump is mad, just not in the way of believing he's Jesus.
