That was no gaffe; it was a deliberate, bald-faced lie.

of an authoritarian country. Something like cleaning up after Mao for example.

That the GOP doesn't acknowledge the danger of it will be a stain on them for all time.

I know I sure as hell am.

latest coverup, evasion, or even better yet whitewash. Yeah, whitewashing. Haven't heard that used in a while.

And it was a rather weak and vain attempt to try to not look foolish, which I admit is hard for him these days.

Bozo is as bozo does.

If he quietly had moved on from the entire misspeaking about Alabama being in the cone, not admitting he was wrong just not mentioning it again the story dies with about every other dumb thing he says.

Ordering a subordinate to draw a cone that includes Alabama only brings up the dumb thing he said earlier again.

He got caught.
He will be ridiculed for it for as long as he is in office.
All he had to do was admit he misspoke a few times about Alabama. He could not admit the mistake so he either altered the old map himself, or directed someone to alter/create a map after the fact.

There is absolutely no reason for anyone to believe anything Trump says, nor any evidence he presents ever again. He has lost any trust he had. This, and the misuse of taxpayer money for stays at Trump properties, along with stealing money from state military projects for his vanity wall, should cause more Republicans to jump ship.

It's so obvious, so stupid, so infantile. It's the kind of behavior that really embarrasses the people who've been defending him even through Puerto Rico, children in cages, and everything else.

Being threatened by a bomb falling down on them.

The stick figures will have misshapen speech bubbles saying things like "hilp" and "aaaaaaa".

He will call this image a satellite photo and use it as justification to start World War III.

The media will not question any of this. They will say, "President Trump displayed an image representing a satellite photo that appears to show..."

Rolling back light bulb guidelines? Editing hurricane maps? Outright lying and not giving a f*ck? Whether we pivot into a full blown dictatorship is up to trump & mcconnell, at this point. He could cancel elections and all anyone would do is tweet and complain. I'm so disappointed.
