By definition Trump is a traitor. Why haven't the news media and Democrats been calling him traitor?

We were attacked by Russia. Trump welcomed the attack and cheered it on because it was helping him.

Trump then lied to the American people about the attack. Trump tried to remove sanctions against Russia and has blocked new ones from being put in place.

Then Trump committed multiple High Crimes trying to do everything he could to end the investigation into the attack. He and Barr turned the Mueller report into a fucking joke. People, that's the definition of a traitor.

There has been a giant disconnect between the American people and the reality of the danger we are facing. The people see the danger, they are not reacting the way they should. There should already be a large majority of Americans calling for impeachment.

Maybe, if the news media and Democrats in Congress had been calling him a traitor for the past couple of years, told the people Trump has betrayed the nation and the people over the past couple of years , things would different now. Then again maybe not, maybe what we are witnessing can only be cured by the people getting hurt very badly.
