He is scared or not sure what to do and waiting for advise on what to do. Perhaps this is the very last thing that he expected, because he thought the conversation that he had was totally private and protected. Time will tell, this story is new. We will all see one way or another. Further, if what was said to someone was, "illegal and totally wrong for him to do, then he has a much greater problem then what to "tweet today." Trump knows what he said, and we don't. But, at some point we will probably find out..

Maybe all of our top Committee people should temporarily put other matters on hold and make this into a huge story, push it, talk only about this one story, hold press conferences, make appearances. If Wolf Blitzer wants to talk about something else, to hell with it, talk about THIS story.

There will be a closed session before the open hearing. Stonewalling the Gang of 8 is not a good way to start a new job.

Also, Contempt of Congress doesn't look good on a resume.

Even if the acting DNI stonewalls, he can hold a news conference and blow this thing up.

I know Schiff's doing a brilliant job. Regardless, it will still be up to Congress and courts to rule rule when time is of the essence (allegedly). I see no movement in the courts.

The FBI's time to enforce appears to be over. Congress and the courts can't call on them.

Without enforcement power, Schiff's efforts won't be timely enough, or sold powerfully enough to matter to a seemingly disengaged or discouraged public. No amount of evidence and outrage -- talk of contempt, or court rulings -- enforces the law.

Structurally, there's no enforcement entity other than the DOJ.

it is family/friends sharing service. After the election I shared some news with a link and got schooled by a friend (rightfully so): “I don’t get my news from FB”. And no one should but we must help stop spreading news through facebook in the first place. I assume all news on FB is fake news, and many other folks do. So if you post something important on FB, it may become fake news in the eyes of those who read it.

I use FB to spread news all of the time. It is the only thing that I use FB for and I post everything public. My "FB friends" are free to "unfriend" me but appreciate getting the information that I post.

Another Fake News story out there - It never ends! Virtually anytime I speak on the phone to a foreign leader, I understand that there may be many people listening from various U.S. agencies, not to mention those from the other country itself. No problem!
