Top Senate Intelligence Democrat says Maguire, inspector general to brief panel Thursday

Acting Director of National Intelligence Joseph Maguire and Michael Atkinson, the intelligence community inspector general, will meet with the Senate Intelligence Committee on Thursday, according to the top Democrat on the panel.

Sen. Mark Warner (D-Va.) told reporters on Tuesday that the two men will brief the Senate committee separately in the wake of a whistleblower complaint reportedly linked to President Trump's actions toward Ukraine.

A spokeswoman for committee Chairman Richard Burr (R-N.C.) declined to comment beyond a Monday statement that the GOP senator was working to set up briefings. The Senate Intelligence Committee has two closed-door briefings on its calendar for Thursday.

Asked on Tuesday if he thought lawmakers would have the complaint by the time they have the two briefings later in the week, Warner demurred, saying they "are still working through" issues. - The Hill

Where is Barr in all of this. He's suppose to protect the president and himself. Did that house of cards just fold as well?

He will be arrogant and smug and say nothing. He will claim the transcript is sufficient and when it shows nothing (of course drumpf would never fucking tell the truth about himself, it's just not in him) will not have an answer to why the IG said this was "an urgent national security issue". They will next need to hold him in contempt and take whatever legal measures are possible to compel him to release the whole truth.
